On November 20, 2025, the Institute of Global and Public Affairs (IGPA) at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Macau held an academic exchange session with the Institute of Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS).
During the session, participants engaged in in‑depth discussions on topics such as political transitions, regional integration, and governance in post‑Soviet and Central Asian states. The scholars also exchanged perspectives on China’s engagement with Belt and Road Initiative partner countries in the region and the shifting geopolitical landscape across Eurasia.
Dr. Gao Ge, Research Fellow from the Research Division of Transition and Integration Theory at CASS, Dr. Xu Gang, Research Fellow from the Division of Scientific Research at CASS, and Dr. Sun Sibei, Post-doctoral Teaching Fellow at Tsinghua University’s Schwarzman College, participated in the exchange. Representing the University of Macau were Prof. Pan Wei, Director of IGPA and Chair Professor of the Department of Government and Public Administration; Associate Professors Song Weiqing, Pan Chengxin, and Wu Xiangning; Assistant Professors Yang Hai and Lam Ka Ian; and doctoral student Hu Xueyan from the Department of Government and Public Administration.
The exchange provided a valuable platform for sharing research perspectives and fostering mutual understanding between the two academic communities.
2025年11月20日,中國社會科學院俄羅斯東歐中亞研究所一行應邀訪問澳門大學社會科學學院全球與公共事務研究所。
交流中,雙方學者圍繞後蘇聯國家及中亞地區的政治轉型、區域一體化與治理、中國與“一帶一路”沿線相關國家的互動關係,以及歐亞地區持續演變的地緣政治格局等議題,展開了深入探討。
中國社會科學院俄羅斯東歐中亞研究所轉型與一體化理論研究室研究員高歌博士、科研處研究員徐剛博士,以及清華大學蘇世民書院博士後教員孫思備博士參加了此次學術交流。澳門大學社會科學學院方面參與人員有:全球與公共事務研究所所長、政府與行政學系講座教授潘維,政府與行政學系副教授宋衛清、潘成鑫、吳湘寧,助理教授楊海、林嘉欣,及政府與行政學系博士生胡雪琰。
