On January 7, 2026, the Institute of Global and Public Affairs (IGPA) of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Macau (UM), and the Department of Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs Management at China Foreign Affairs University successfully held an academic exchange meeting to discuss key issues in contemporary international relations and explore new prospects for academic collaboration.

During the exchange, representatives from both institutions provided comprehensive introductions to their respective academic research, research programmes, and areas of expertise. The CFAU delegation shared their latest research achievements in fields such as Chinese diplomacy, international organizations, and international development assistance. UM scholars highlighted the Faculty’s research strengths in public affairs and international public affairs, as well as its experience in international academic cooperation. The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on existing collaborative initiatives and explored potential future areas of research and academic cooperation.

The CFAU delegation was led by Prof. Wang Chunying, Director of the Center for the Studies of China’s Diplomacy Theory, and included Assoc. Prof. Niu Zhongjun, Assoc. Prof. Fan Chao, Deputy Director of the Department of Diplomacy, and Assoc. Prof. Xu Xiaohong. UM participants included Prof. Hu Weixing, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Distinguished Professor in the Department of Government and Public Administration, Prof. Pan Wei, Director of the Institute of Global and Public Affairs and Chair Professor in the same department, as well as Assoc. Profs. Song Weiqing, Pan Chengxin, Wu Xiangning, and Asst. Prof. Yin Weiwen.

This academic exchange deepened mutual understanding between UM and CFAU in the fields of international relations and public affairs, and laid a solid foundation for future research collaboration. It further underscored UM’s active role in promoting regional and global academic exchange.

2026年1月7日，澳門大學社會科學學院全球與公共事務研究所與外交學院外交學與外事管理系成功舉辦學術交流活動，共同探討當前國際關係研究中的重要議題，以及科研合作的拓展方向。

交流期間，雙方代表分別介紹了各自的院系建設、學術項目及研究優勢。外交學院代表團分享了該校在中國外交、國際組織及發展援助等領域的最新研究成果與教學特色，澳門大學學者則介紹了社會科學學院在公共政策，全球事務以及國際關係方面的核心研究與國際合作經驗。與會者還就中美關係中的不確定因素以及所影響的全球議題進行深入交流，並探討了未來合作的潛在領域。

外交學院代表團由外交學院中國外交理論研究中心主任王春英教授，外交學院外交學系牛仲君教授，外交學院外交學系副主任樊超副教授，徐小紅副教授組成。澳門大學參與人員包括:社會科學學院院長、政府與行政學系特聘教授胡偉星，全球與公共事務研究所所長、政府與行政學系講座教授潘維，政府與行政學系副教授宋衛清、潘成鑫、吳湘寧，以及助理教授尹偉文。

此次交流活動加深了兩校在國際關係及公共事務領域的相互了解，為未來的學術合作與人才培養奠定了堅實基礎，展現了澳門大學在推動區域與全球學術對話中的積極作用。
